We are very excited to announce that we will be taking over the Doune Braes Hotel 6 miles north of us here in Callanish. For anyone wishing to make a booking there can do so via this link book here. If you dont see availability please call ( please include in booking that you were transferred from the b&b) Please note that we will be spending this winter renovating the hotel and rooms. The hotel will operate under a new name as 
Due to this change in circumstances and the launch of an exciting new venture we will be reducing capacity to one guest room at the b&b in 2026. The Barn will be offered for booking on a self-serve continental basis only during this period.

Gealabhat B&B from 2026 is a self contained suite called the barn in the village of Callanish right next to the famous standing stones.
It is an ideal central location from which to explore the Isle of Lewis and Harris.
The cottage has been in the family since the early sixties and was run as a B&B for many years by Gregors grandmother. To this day we have her visitor book.
Looking south over the beautiful lochs and Caileach na Mointich (sleeping beauty) hills you will wake up feeling inspired and excited to go explore what our wonderful island has to offer. Whether you are looking to explore our Island's history and enjoy the many walks or surf the rolling atlantic waves you will find it all on your door step. Callanish is an ideal place for watching migratory birds and our dark skies provide a haven for astronomers and aurora watchers in the winter months.
