Directions from Stornoway ferry
(please note SatNav may use alternative route over single track road)
From ferry terminal entrance, turn left onto Shell Street, then proceed to the first roundabout. Go straight across onto South Beach Street following road round through town until you come to 2nd roundabout. Go straight across. Then take first left onto Willow-glen road, at T-junction turn left, you are now on the A859 to Tarbert, at the Leurbost service station turn right, following the signs for the Callanish Stones. You are now 10 miles from me, on the A858 pass through Gearraidh- na-h-Aibhne. Bypass the signs for the Callanish Stones and continue down the A858. After around 1/4 mile turn left at bus shelter (shortly after power station on your right). Continue up the road and after a few bends we am situated first on the right at the cattle grid.

Exit the airport by taking a right and head towards Stornoway. At the first round about continue straight across and at the second roundabout turn right onto Matheson Rd. after about a mile you will come to another roundabout next to Spar service station. Turn right and almost immediately turn left onto willow-glen road, at the T-junction turn left, you are now on the A859 to Tarbert, at the Leurbost service station turn right, following the signs for the Callanish Stones. You are now 10 miles from me, on the A858 pass through Gearraidh- na-h-Aibhne. Bypass the signs for the Callanish Stones and continue down the A858. After around 1/4 mile turn left at the bus shelter (shortly after power station on your right). Continue up the road and after a few bends I am situated first on the right at the cattle grid.
Directions from Tarbert in Harris
From the ferry terminal take the first available left which takes you to a T-junction. Turn right onto the A859 towards Stornoway. Continue for around 25 - 30 miles. You will pass through a village called LAXAY and at this point you start looking out for the junction sign posted Callanish Stones. Take that left. You are now 10 miles from me, on the A858 pass through Gearraidh- na-h-Aibhne. Bypass the signs for the Callanish Stones and continue down the A858. After around 1/4 mile turn left at the bus shelter ( shortly after the power station on your right). Continue up the road and after a few bends I am situated first on the right. The White House with a cattle grid at the end of the drive.
