When you book accommodation, you are entering into a contract with Gealabhat* 9 Callanish B & B.

The contract will exist as soon as you have accepted our offer of accommodation, and we have confirmed receipt of your deposit.

From our initial reply and offer of accommodation, a period of seven (7) days has elapsed then we consider our offer of accommodation to have been refused and reserve the right to offer the accommodation to the open market.

Deposit and Payment

A 50% deposit with the remaining balance payable in cash, card or Bank transfer on departure.

Deposit can be paid by cheque or bank transfer. Please let us know if you wish to pay by PayPal.

Gealabhat Cancellation policy

Please follow-up with a telephone call to ensure that we have received the cancellation.

(2022) All bookings will receive a full deposit refund with 28 days notice of stay date.
If due to unforeseen circumstance we have to cancel your booking, Gealabhat B&B will refund all monies you have paid to us.
We will not be liable for any other expenses you have incurred

Change of booking

If, after we have issued confirmation of your booking, you wish to change your arrival, or departure date, or accommodation type, we will do our utmost to make these changes, but that may not always be possible. If it is not possible then we will inform you.

We reserve the right to change your booking arrangements (but will only do so in exceptional circumstances).

In the event of us having to do so, we will contact you as soon as possible with all details of the changes. In this event, you will have the choice of accepting the change, or cancelling you're booking and receiving a full refund of all monies paid to us.

We shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or expense if you have to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

Booking Conditions

Rooms are usually available from 17.00 hours on the day of entry.

The last ferry on certain days in the summer arrives in Stornoway at approximately 0045 hours. We are unable to accept guests arriving on that ferry except in very exceptional circumstances.

Rooms should be vacated by 10.30 hours on the day of departure.

Evening meals, when available, will not be served after 20.00 hours, except by special arrangement.

The Unavoidable Delay

Timings of ferry and air schedules can be subject to change because of timetable changes, weather conditions, or technical problems etc. If this happens to you please inform us and your accommodation will be held until your arrival.

Pets

Dogs are allowed but it is the guests responsibility to make sure that they are well behaved and that the room is left clean and tidy. If any damage is caused it is the guests responsibility to pay for cleaning or repair.
